Mundelein Montessori School Reviews

I am really thinking that many of the reviews here must be written by the admin. of this school. I have been at this school for just a few short months and already my children have gone through many bad teachers. The director is completly insensitive and unhelpful. All the teachers that were good leave very quickly and parents are always told some fake reason. Very unhappy, currently looking for a new school, a real Montessori school where my children can learn, not just do puzzles all day and be babysat!

I have been a parent of a child enrolled since September of 2004. Since that time I now have 2 children enrolled. My oldest will be a Kindergartener at Mundelein Montessori this fall and my youngest is almost 2. This school is exceptional and the staff is wonderful! The communication between parents and the staff is above and beyond. . . they always keep us informed of everything. They retain their staff and rarely have staff changes. My oldest's teacher he has had for almost 2 years and my toddler's teacher was the same my oldest had! I'm not sure if the people who posted the negative reviews ever even attended that school! I completely disagree with everything they posted. There is a curriculum in place and the children are constantly learning something new! We are very happy at Mundelein Montessori School and would recommend it to anyone!

i have a 3yr old, 8 year old and a 11 yr old a t this school. i have found this school to be different in many ways. it is a learning experiece all the time never a dull moment. my children are always shown how to be better at all they try. monessori is a different way of learning, hands on. my children love this school compared to other day cares they have been too. i have been with this school for over a year now.

I have a 19 month old and 4 1/2 year old attending Mundelein Montessori. We have been enrolled for almost 3 years and love it! The school is small and very personal. Breakfast and all meals are provided, educational field trips, holiday performances, school pictures...the works! My oldest is beginning to write and has learned almost all kindergarten skills. My youngest never cries when dropped off because she enjoys seeing the other children. As an Early Intervention service provider I rate this school as excellent. They are attentive to typically developing children as well as those who may have special needs. As a mother I love the personal care and enriched learning environment they provide.

Very unhappy with the school. Not the Montessori school I thought it was more of a daycare center. Unclean, teacher change all the time, no worth the cost.

Constantly changing staff. Very poor parent-teacher communication. Would not recommend to other parents.

Mundelein Montessori School follows the Montessori method in educating it's students. The teachers are all knowledgable and go out of their way to provide a loving and nurturing enviornment for children to thrive and develop. My experiences have been nothing, but extremely positive. I've been there for four and a half years and now have my second child starting there. I am very happy with my decision in choosing a high quality program for my children.

Extremely poor school, no curriculm, claims to be private, but is nothing more than a play room for children. Teachers do not manage the children as they play all day.
